Becoming involved in the PA is an excellent way for you to play an active role in your child's education and personal growth at Stuyvesant. The PA Executive Board invites you to join in the PA's endeavors to make our children's experience at Stuy as enriching and rewarding as it can be. In addition to filling out the "Get Involved!" form, we invite you to click on the links under the "Become Involved" menu heading to learn about all the ways you can participate. Please note that all parents of Stuyvesant students are automatically members of the Parents' Association; no dues or donations are required. DOE regulations and the PA By-Laws define "parent" broadly to include: a mother, father, adopted parent, step-parent, guardian, and/or any person in a parental relation to a child, and/or persons who act in loco parentis (in place of a parent or legal guardian with whom the child resides or who has been designated by the parent or legal guardian) regarding the child's education.
