PA General Meeting 2.25: Healthy Screen Time

Updated 2.26
Please find Dr. Angelinda Baroni’s presentation attached here.

Is healthy screen time possible? What would it look like? Parents all over the world are asking those questions, and for good reason.  Studies show that American teenagers and college students use electronic devices 4 hours per day on average. Electronic device overuse is associated with depression, anxiety, and lack of sleep.  How worried should parents be about their children’s screen time and how can they detect and deal with potential problems?

At the February 25, 2020 Parent Association meeting Dr. Argelinda Baroni, Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at NYU Langone, will offer some expert views on this difficult and important topic. Dr. Baroni, a board certified psychiatrist, teaches classes at NYU on sleep and internet overuse.

Please RSVP here for the February meeting to get her views and to ask her any questions you might have.
