Student Opportunities Bulletin

It might seem early to be preparing for summer but it’s not! Internships, summer jobs, and college courses for the summer of 2023 are already being arranged and opportunities are disappearing. Internship Coordinator, Mr. Harvey Blumm has created a weekly  Student Opportunities Bulletin that lists all different openings available.  It is distributed weekly by email in the E-News or you can click here to view the latest edition.  “Mr. Blumm’s Student Opportunities Bulletin has led me to engage with amazing programs such as the US Youth Ambassadors program and DOROT. Harvey’s Important Tips To Remember

Apply, Apply, Apply – Do Not Procrastinate! Check the relevant category section of the weekly bulletin and pick several opportunities that interest you.  Most deadlines will pass in the month of March.  December is the ideal time period to get the process going.  Before Midwinter Recess, you should ask a teacher of your choice in person to write a recommendation.  It usually takes them 1-2 weeks to finish and send it to summer programs that require it.
