Attend PA Meetings

The PA’s General Meetings are designed with your needs in mind. Attendance will enrich your understanding of issues that directly affect your child. Our programs regularly present key members of the Stuyvesant community and well-informed guest speakers who make presentations on topics such as college admissions and financial aid.

Meetings are held monthly from September through June. Simultaneous interpretation in Korean and Mandarin is available. Meetings generally start at 7:00 PM. For details about the programs of upcoming meetings, please check the PA’s weekly email announcements as well as this website.

Becoming involved in the PA is an excellent way for you to play an active role in your child’s education and personal growth at Stuyvesant. The PA Executive Board invites you to join in the PA’s endeavors to make our children’s experience at Stuy as enriching and rewarding as it can be.

Please note that all parents of Stuyvesant students are automatically members of the Parents’ Association; no dues or donations are required. DOE regulations and the PA By-Laws define “parent” broadly to include: a mother, father, adopted parent, step-parent, guardian, and/or any person in a parental relation to a child, and/or persons who act in loco parentis (in place of a parent or legal guardian with whom the child resides or who has been designated by the parent or legal guardian) regarding the child’s education.
